Objective

  • To be faithful to the objectives of KIRANA BAR PUBLIC SCHOOL for the education of the coming generations of the Pakistan.

 

  • To form good Muslims and virtuous citizens, persons of character, learning how to live and how to make a living;

 

  • To cultivate in its students respect for human values as well as a personal interest in an active social and civic participation in the world around them;
  • To do all that is possible to get the students realize their potential and to help them acquire the knowledge, values and skills they will need for personal development and professional advancement.

 

  • To guide each pupil to acquire good habits and understand conditions necessary for maintaining physical well-being through sports and athletic activities, proper nutrition, physical conditioning, hygiene, health and safety;

 

  • To foster social consciousness by developing love of country through knowledge of its history, culture, ideals, and needs; concern for the welfare and dignity of fellow citizens; and respect for the law and duly constituted authorities;

  • To develop critical thinking and good judgment through an education that provides opportunity to students to learn to use a set of standards in arriving at a decision;

  • To equip each pupil with positive attitude towards the learning process and to acquire the mastery of the basic communication and scientific skills.

 

  • To help each pupil understand and appreciate the Islamic teachings and their application in one's daily life, in relation with the family, school community and the bigger society.
  • To continue to explore, develop and implement consistent and connected curricula and differentiated teaching strategies that appropriately challenge each student to achieve at the highest level possible.

 

  • To continue to utilize and strengthen the instructions of the Everyday Science and linguistic proficiency.

 

  • To review and refine the programs to ensure that the curricula and support services offered to ensure each child is being appropriately nurtured.

 

  • To continue to meet on a weekly basis as Grade Level Teams to discuss and establish clear curricula and data collection expectations and schedules.

 

  • To provide staff development opportunities to support teachers in the implementation of new curricula especially in the areas of mathematics, science and technology.

 

  • To continue to develop and share lists of grade level materials and expectations in various areas, i.e. spelling lists, Sight words, Descriptions of programmes of instruction, etc.

 

  • To improve our utilization of a variety of assessments to drive instruction so students are taught at the highest level at which they are capable of learning.

 

  • To provide differentiated instruction where appropriate so that every student can be taught at the highest level he is capable of learning.

 

  • To improve and enhance the integration of technology into curriculum areas of language arts, science, social studies and mathematics.

 

  • To work with and support the SCHOOL Leadership Team as they develop a system to gather and provide information on new programmes and initiatives.

           

  • To refine, at each grade level, the established timetable of assessments in language arts, mathematics and science.
  • To continue the development and gathering of a variety of assessment pieces and sample papers for each curriculum so that multiple measures of progress may be used to provide evidence of student growth and information on the impact of new programmes and initiatives.

  • To continue to provide relevant staff development opportunities at appropriate times i.e. training in the use of Internet, e-mail, and various programmes.

 

  • To expand our knowledge of the Technology Curriculum Scope & Sequence to ensure appropriate skills are being taught at various grade levels.

 

  • To explore ways that being "on-line" and "networked" can have a positive impact on our community of learners i.e. research, homework, etc.

 

  • To gain a better understanding of how we might utilize the internet to facilitate learning, teaching and collaboration.
